In winter, guests have access to a shared snowmobile access point on/off the lake to connect with DNR-staked snowmobile trails that run across the lake. Snowmobilers must stay on marked trails or vehicle roads while on 5RK Ranch Lakeside property (the property itself is not part of the trail system).

The Peninsula Lakehouse is approximately 2,900 sq ft and is set up to accommodate a total of up to 10 guests. It provides private rooms for 6 adults and includes a lower-level bunk room for up to 4 kids or young adults (see note below).

Important note on twin beds: The twin beds in the bunk room are intended for single persons or young adults weighing no more than 150 lbs and no taller than 5'11". They are not practical or comfortable for couples or for larger adults. This bunk room is best suited for children or younger guests.
