With over 20-acres on the private 5RK Ranch Lakeside estate, we have plenty of designated space for safe, secure, free, on-site guest vehicle and trailer parking. RV's and motor homes not allowed. NOTE: Camping is not allowed on 5RK Ranch Lakeside including tents, trailers, vans, or other.

Great location on a very nice small quiet Lake! Little Round Lake is connected to Round lake. We rented a pontoon from Hayward WI Pontoon Rental and were able to boat from the dock at the Remodeled 4BR Lake House at 5RK Ranch Lakeside to restaurants on the bigger lake. The sand bar on Round Lake was a huge hit on a very hot day. The pontoon rides were enjoyed by everyone. The kids loved fishing off the dock where the sunnies were abundant. This home was beautiful and well supplied with everything we needed. We highly recommend this home.

Expansive gravel fire pit and BBQ area just a couple steps down from the elevated deck overlooking the lake. Guests are provided with 10 Adirondack chairs for use ... and plenty of room for additional chairs that guests may bring to use.

It is a wonderful location, at the end of the road, with panoramic views of the Lake. We could even cut across the lake to a bar and grill. With all the bedrooms on the same level, it allows for easy access and the plenty of room in the great room for gatherings. We have stayed at this location several times and cannot wait to go back again. The lodge is awesome, just the way a lake lodge should feel. The front area is great for group activities and cooking , but the lodge is large enough to have some privacy. Lots of room for fun outdoor activities. The location on the lake is excellent. The sand bottom is ideal. Shallow enough to not worry about kiddos swimming without adults and it's crystal clear. The sand bottom also warms up the water quick in the summertime. The town of Hayward is great for an afternoon excursion. Don’t miss the Moccasin Bar in downtown Hayward! Check it out!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the occupancy / how many Guests can each Lake House accommodate?

Maximum Total Occupancy is 38+ Guests between each of the 3 private lake houses currently available for short-term vacation rental. The Lodge, Lakeside #1, and the Peninsula Lakehouse are all private lake house properties that sit along the 2,000+ feet of sandy lakeshore within 5RK Ranch Lakeside waterfront estate. All are set-up to comfortably accommodate guests of all ages. Each of the lake houses have some occupancy limitations per local ordinance and permit, but there is some flexibility should kids or young people (0-17) want to throw a sleeping bag on the floor.

Host may consider approving requests for additional members of the Guest group (on a per Lake House unit basis), ANY SUCH ACCOMMODATIONS MUST BE mutually agreed upon by both Guest and Host AT TIME OF BOOKING

There is a Maximum Adult Capacity (age 18 or older) per each Guest House.

Host may not be able to provide all the typical overnight sleeping essentials & extra resources for “additional Guests” above and beyond the standard capacity of a particular lake house. Guests may be responsible to provide additional Guest sleeping necessities such as sleeping bags, air mattress, pillows, blankets, or the like if applicable and approved ahead of time.

Additional Occupancy Fee: Guest will be responsible for an additional “per night / per extra Guest fee” for occupancy above standard occupancy capacities.

Check with the host if you have any questions regarding capacity to accommodate the number of Guests in your group.

Once ready to book my reservation with 5RK Ranch Lakeside, what is the payment structure?

While this model is subject to change in the future, the fundamental approach to reserving / booking a lake house property on 5RK Ranch Lakeside is as follows:

50% Cost of Reservation Due at Time of Booking

50% Cost of Reservation Due 60 Days Ahead of Arrival Date

Any Additional / Incremental Service Fee's Incurred Due on Check-Out Date

What is the 5RK Ranch Lakeside cancellation policy?

While this policy is subject to change in the future, the current 5RK Ranch Lakeside cancellation policy is as follows:

Guest cancellations made more than 60 days before the reservation arrival date will receive full-refund of reservation costs paid

Guest cancellations made between 60 days and 30 days before the reservation arrival date will receive a 50% refund of reservation costs paid

Guest cancellations made less than 30 days before the reservation arrival date will not be entitled to a refund of any reservation costs paid

Can I bring my own boat and/or does 5RK Ranch Lakeside offer access to a boat?

Guests can bring their own boat or rent a boat for use during their stay at 5RK Ranch Lakeside.

Guests bringing their own boat will find plenty of space along our private boat docks to secure boats up to 25 ft in length. 5RK Ranch Lakeside boat docks include secure dock cleats, fixed anti-scratch bumpers, and solar powered dock lights to help with evening docking & safety. Guests will need to provide their own ropes, boat specific dock bumpers, weather cover, and other safety and security gear if so desired to protect their respective boat(s).

For Guests needing to rent a pontoon boat (or other) for their stay, ask 5RK Ranch Lakeside for assistance! We have established a concierge-level partnership with a premiere boat rental company in Hayward WI that will deliver and pick-up our Guests' rental boats to our lake house property (so our Guests do not need to hassle with all of the typical in/out efforts)!! Guests staying for a week (7 nights) or longer may qualify for a special 5RK Ranch Lakeside discount -- inquire at time of booking!!

IF YOU NEED A BOAT RENTAL FOR YOUR STAY - DO NOT WAIT to reserve! Discuss your needs with the 5RK Ranch Lakeside team at time of booking and we will help you get your boat reserved and secured for your stay. (Many Guests reserve their boats and lake houses 9-12 months in advance.)

What is the pet policy / are pets allowed on 5RK Ranch Lakeside properties?

While the owners and purveyors of 5RK Ranch Lakeside LOVE animals and pets of all shapes and sizes, as hosts seeking to provide the best experience possible to all potential Guests – the 5RK Ranch Lakeside regrets that currently we cannot accommodate pets of any kind. If this changes in the future, we will make sure to make note of this change across all our applicable listings within the 5RK Ranch Lakeside estate.

** Service Animal Considerations:

Host will consider service animal requests (max of 1 per property). Guest will be requested to provide appropriate documentation and an accompanying picture of the specific Service Animal for consideration prior to booking. If approved and upon booking a reservation, Guest acknowledges that an additional pet cleaning fee will be assessed for the associated stay (pending quote from Cleaning Service Company).

Is a security deposit required or do you offer Guests accidental damage protection?

Accidents happen, and can also be very expensive. 5RK Ranch Lakeside prefers to not inconvenience Guests with a large security deposit. To provide Guests with a worry-free stay while mitigating risks associated with being a STR host, 5RK Ranch Lakeside has bundled into the price of each Guest stay Accidental Damage Protection (ADP).

This option is offered in place of a significantly larger security deposit.

The ADP Waiver is a low cost, non-refundable, per-stay fee that helps cover unexpected, accidental mishaps — so you can relax and fully enjoy your time at 5RK Ranch Lakeside with added peace of mind.

What the ADP Waiver Covers:

Accidental, unintentional damage that may occur during your stay (up to 21 nights)

What the ADP Waiver Does Not Cover

The waiver does not apply to damage or issues resulting from:

Parties or events

Pets (unless explicitly approved in writing)

Intentional or negligent damage

Smoking, vaping, smokeless tobacco, or other related violations

Any violation of house rules

The owner reserves the right to charge for damages or violations that exceed, or are not covered by, the Accidental Damage Protection.
